This summer

Your immediate family is also vital to being a good street cop. Having family grounds you; it humbles you. It doesn’t matter if you ran into a burning building to save someone while at work — no matter what happened at work, it’s not as important as what’s going on at home.

My favorite English song is 98 degrees－My Everything. It’s a beautiful love song. The first time I heard of the song was performed by my favorite Korean singer. I felt a sense of sadness by the way he was singing the song, probably because he was dedicating it to his deceased father. His interpretation of the song was different from the original singer, and I thought it was very enjoyable. I could feel a strong out-pouring of love from the lyrics, eternally endless, also mimics the togetherness of a close knit ifamily. My favorite line from the lyrics is, ”You are my everything. Nothing your love won’t bring. My life is yours alone. The only love I’ve never known.” Maybe one day I can sing the song for my family, to express my love to them.

It's Moon Festival today. People go on barbecues whenever it's Moon Festival. Although typhoon Usagi strikes during this four-day-holiday, our excitement about the barbecue won't be put out.
Today we had barbecue while enjoying the marvelous sight of the moon. It was very delighting.
