這句的重點在 but 這個字.
我先把其他小問題修一下:
To do the thing that you want. 不是一個完整的句子.
你可以把最前面的 To 去掉, 變成
Do the things you want.
(thing 要加上s 變成複數)
It will make you better.
那將會讓你變得更好.
假如兩句用了連接詞but合在一起:
Do the things you want, but those will make you better.
(做你要做的事, 可是那些事會讓你變得更好.)
或是 (做你要做的事, 除了那些會讓你變得更好的事除外.)
意思很怪吧.. 很怪的原因是你用了 but 這個連接詞.
原文:[去做你想做的事 但是這件事是會讓你變得更好的]
(假如我沒誤解你的原意,) 比較白話文的講法是
[去做你想做的事, 前提是這件事會讓你變得更好]
那就很容易翻譯了
